Dear Friends,
Fire in the Head, Fire in the Heart, Fire in the Belly
A flame is growing in my heart. Holding court at its center are these two phrases: the potential emergence of a World Civilization and a World Spirituality. I realize that these twin flames have been burning in me one way and another all through my life. This is the year I plan to explore them both, within the framework of study and process inherent in the Mystery School.
The next 25 years happen to be the most critical years for the human species. In Mystery School, I am determined to explore ways of creating and sustaining a sexy and powerful world vision, vigorously alive in the imagining of each participant, and also shared mutually; then finding the skillful means to bring that vision into reality, both individually and collectively.
A wise and prescient friend says that Mystery Schools around the world need to evolve people capable of stabilizing these as open-ended possibilities, people willing to learn the requirements of claiming the joys and responsibilities of being world citizens while holding a potent sense of world spirit. And people committed to living passionately within this knowing will practice the goodness that must be offered if we are to live through the intense changes that are upon us in ways that will allow our children and our planet to thrive.
What Mystery Schools Do
Mystery Schools exist to train people in recognizing and remembering the great mystery that dwells within each of us - to honor the world traditions from which we spring, and to prepare body, mind and spirit to create a beneficent and beneficial future for every one.
A World Civilization (one that works for everyone) will maintain fierce and respectful individuation of cultures and peoples. A worthwhile World Spirituality is not a religion, but an earth-centered buoyant awareness of the spiritual dimensions within all things. My name for both of these is the New Pangaia.
The New Pangaia
Pangaia was the name given to the beautiful earth when all the continents
were united. Our work in 2009, is to create a new Pangaia of spirit,
form, intention and possibility. Sourced from the finest dreams of
culture and spirit, the New Pangaia is created first within ourselves and
then within the shared community that is the Mystery School, our
families, communities and the world that is striving to be born.
In 2009, I ask you to join me as we Establish our authentic Being in the New Pangaia. We will do this by first envisioning it in the deepest forces of our inner generative worlds, and, from that place of our innate creative genius, begin to live within its truths and practice its gifts. From that Establishment of Being in the New Pangaia, we will indeed Take Action. We will listen, watch for and then be empowered to take appropriate dynamic steps to restoration and new genesis for the Earth, our communities, our cultures and ourselves.
